UIGEN-T3-8B-Preview: Advanced UI Generation with Hybrid Reasoning
Tesslate's UIGEN-T3-8B-Preview is an 8 billion parameter UI generation model, leveraging the Qwen3 architecture to create both individual UI components and complete web pages. This model introduces a novel hybrid reasoning system, enabling users to choose between a /think mode for guided reasoning with layout analysis and heuristics, or a /no_think mode for faster, direct code generation. It is powered by UIGenEval, a specialized benchmark designed to assess UI generation quality across technical structure, prompt adherence, interaction behavior, and responsive design.
Key Capabilities
- Hybrid Reasoning: Control generation style with
/think(guided) and/no_think(fast) modes. - Comprehensive UI Output: Generates both isolated components and full HTML web pages, including design token headers for customization.
- Quality-Focused: Informed by the UIGenEval framework, ensuring clean HTML, CSS structure, and semantic accuracy.
- Flexible Input: Supports user-supplied or placeholder images.
Good For
- Startup MVPs: Rapidly scaffolding UIs from scratch with clean code.
- Component Libraries: Efficiently building and exporting UI elements like buttons, cards, and navbars.
- Internal Tool Builders: Creating admin panels, dashboards, and layout templates.
- Rapid Client Prototypes: Generating production-ready HTML+Tailwind outputs to save time on mockups.
This model is currently released for research and non-commercial use, with commercial licensing available through a pilot program.
