Proxy Settings

HammerAI is a character chat site which supports use of models from 3rd party inference services like Featherless. To configure HammerAI to use your featherless account,

1. Open the site and select a character to chat

2. In the sidebar, set the dropdown field “Model” to the value “☁️ Proxy”

3. Set “Proxy URL” to the value https://api.featherless.ai/v1

4. Set “Proxy Model” to the ID of the model you wish to use (choose any from the featherless catalogue)

5. Set “Proxy Model Context Length” to the maximum context length of the model you chose in step three. Most models support 16,384, but the exact value can be found on the model details page.

6. Set “Proxy API Key” to an API key that you generate from the API keys page of your account. Users typically generate distinct API keys for each client program that they use
