Psyche-R1: A Chinese Psychological Reasoning LLM

Psyche-R1, developed by MindIntLab, is the first Chinese psychological reasoning large language model designed to integrate empathy, expertise, and reasoning capabilities. This 7.6 billion parameter model is a fine-tuned version of Qwen/Qwen2.5-7B-Instruct.

• Hybrid Training Strategy: Utilizes both Supervised Fine-Tuning (SFT) and Generative Reinforcement Learning from Human Feedback (GRPO) to enhance performance.
• Strong Benchmark Performance: Achieves comparable results to DeepSeek-R1 on several psychology benchmarks, including the Psychology Counselor Examination Benchmark (PCEB) and CPsyExam test set. It also shows improved empathy performance on the SoulChat2.0 test set.
