Agent Marketplace
The Agent Marketplace is the fastest way to use AI-powered apps with Featherless. Instead of setting up an agent from scratch — provisioning a server, installing the software, wiring up a model, and managing API keys — you pick an app from the marketplace and launch it. Everything runs in the cloud, ready to use in a few seconds.
What is it?
The marketplace is a catalogue of pre-built AI apps and agents — chat interfaces, personal assistants, and agentic tools — that run on Featherless-managed cloud sandboxes. Each app comes packaged with sensible defaults and Featherless inference already connected, so there is nothing to configure before you can start using it.
How do I use it?
Go to featherless.ai/account/agents and click Browse Marketplace. Choose an app, click Launch, and your sandbox spins up in seconds. Launching agent sandboxes is available on every paid plan above the entry ($25) tier.
Why use it?
Basic setup is already done. Each app ships with a working configuration and a curated selection of good models, so you can launch and start using it right away.
Inference is already configured. Featherless is wired in as the model backend for every app. No separate API keys, no token bill to manage — inference is bundled into your subscription.
It runs in the cloud. Your agent runs continuously in the background — no laptop to keep awake, no local install. Because it lives on a cloud sandbox, it stays available and is reachable from your phone.
Inactivity and idle stop
Because your agent runs in the cloud, it keeps running in the background even while you are away. To free up resources, an agent that has had no activity for 24 hours is automatically stopped. Activity includes opening the app, sending a message, or any inference (LLM) request the agent makes — any of these resets the timer. Routine background health checks do not count as activity.
When an agent is stopped for inactivity, its state is preserved — files and configuration are kept — so nothing is lost. To use it again, open it from your agents list and click Start. It comes back up on the same configuration in a few seconds.
The app I want isn't in the marketplace

Agent lifecycle
Apps are versioned, and new versions are published as they improve. To move an existing agent to a newer release, open the agent from your agents list and use Change Version. Pick the version you want from the dropdown and click Apply. The agent is redeployed on the selected version, keeping your existing configuration.
